Enhancements

The City of Kearney has aggressively pursued airport enhancements that include an expanded Fixed Base Operations, along with plans to erect a corporate hangar facility. Other upgrades include improvements to: Flight terminal Lounges Weather briefing areas We also have available land lease opportunities for hangar construction.

Infrastructure
The airside infrastructure includes two runways, six taxiways, and two parking aprons. This infrastructure can support aircraft equivalent in size to a DC-9 or B-737. Three air navigation systems and multiple lighting systems guide aircraft to the airport. Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicles round out the airside support.

Any aircraft with 30 passenger seats or more, or over 110,000 lb. gross landing weight requires prior permission from FAA Central Regional, Kansas City, Missouri.
