Our mission is to enforce codes, provide permit services, inspections and guidance in new construction and/or remodeling in order to protect the safety and well being of City residents.

Building Services is a division of the Development Services Department and is responsible for administering and enforcing adopted zoning, building, electrical and plumbing codes.
 
This Division inspects work to insure it is in conformance with adopted codes. All plumbers, electricians and building contractors performing work in the City’s jurisdiction are required to register with the Building Services Division prior to starting work.
